POF did a phenomenal job organizing, decluttering, labeling, and inventorying nearly 20 years' worth of supplies. Their efficiency, attention to detail, and clear systems turned overwhelming clutter into clean, functional, and easy-to-navigate storage areas. What felt like an impossible task was handled with professionalism, care, and an incredible sense of order — all in a remarkably short amount of time. I would highly recommend Peace of Find for any organization or individual needing serious decluttering and system creation.
Why should I consider
professional organizing?
Most organizations know their spaces need work. The question is usually "why not just do it ourselves?" Here's what makes professional organizing different — and why it's worth the investment.
You've been meaning to do it for months — or years
Disorganization rarely gets better on its own. When staff are busy with daily operations, reorganizing a supply room or storage area keeps getting pushed to "next week." A professional team comes in with dedicated time, a clear plan, and the momentum to get it done — often in a fraction of the time an internal team would need.
DIY organizing often doesn't stick
Without a deliberate system behind it, spaces tend to drift back to disorder within weeks. Professional organizers don't just tidy — we design systems with clear categories, labeled zones, and documented logic that make it easy for anyone on your team to put things back in the right place. The system does the work, not willpower.
Your staff's time is too valuable to spend organizing
When you factor in the hourly cost of pulling multiple staff members off their regular responsibilities to reorganize a space — plus the time it takes because they're not trained organizers — a professional engagement often costs less than doing it internally. And the result is better and lasts longer.
Disorganized spaces cost more than you realize
Staff spending 2–4 hours a week searching for supplies, tools, or documents adds up to hundreds of hours per year. Duplicate purchasing — buying items you already own but can't find — drains budgets quietly. Cluttered environments also increase stress, reduce focus, and contribute to staff burnout. These are real costs with a real solution.
An outside perspective sees what you've stopped noticing
When you work in a space every day, you stop seeing its problems. A professional organizer comes in without assumptions — evaluating traffic flow, access patterns, storage capacity, and safety considerations that your team has learned to work around. Fresh eyes find better solutions.
The results are immediate and visible
Unlike most consulting engagements, physical organizing delivers results you can see and use on day one. Staff notice immediately. Morale improves. The workspace that was a source of daily frustration becomes a functional, welcoming environment — and that shift has a ripple effect on how people feel about their work.
"An organized environment is not a luxury. It is a prerequisite for doing your best work — and for the people who depend on you to do it well."
Peace of FindWhat the work actually includes
Space Assessment
We walk the space and document what's there, how it's used, and what's working and what isn't. We identify bottlenecks and opportunities before any reorganization begins.
Decluttering & Disposition
We sort and categorize everything — identifying what stays, what gets donated or discarded, and what belongs somewhere else. Nothing leaves without your approval.
System Design
We design an organization system specific to your space and your team — categories, zones, flow, and access hierarchy based on frequency of use. The design is documented so it can be replicated and maintained.
Physical Organization
We execute the plan — sorting, shelving, arranging, and positioning everything according to the designed system. We work efficiently and with minimal disruption to your operations.
Labeling
Every shelf, zone, bin, and category gets clearly labeled in a consistent format. Labels are printed, not handwritten, and placed for visibility at eye level wherever possible.
Staff Walkthrough & Training
Before we leave, we walk your team through the new system so they understand the logic, can find anything in the space, and know how to maintain it going forward.

No — you don't need to do anything beforehand. In fact, we prefer to see the space in its current state so we can accurately assess how it's being used and where the real problems are. Come as you are. Our job is to take it from where it is to where it needs to be.
-
Not throughout — but we do need a designated point of contact available to answer questions and make decisions, especially at the start of the project. Disposition decisions (what stays, what goes, what gets donated) always require your approval. Nothing leaves without your sign-off. We work around your operations and try to minimize disruption to your team's daily schedule.
-
We assess your current storage capacity as part of the initial evaluation. If additional shelving, bins, or organizers are needed, we will recommend specific products based on your space dimensions and budget. We can also advise on what you can source locally versus order. Purchasing is handled by you — we provide the specifications and you decide what to buy.
-
It depends on the size and condition of the space. A single supply room or storage area typically takes1–3 days. Larger institutional engagements — multiple spaces across a school or office building — are scoped individually. We provide a clear timeline in your project plan before any work begins so there are no surprises.
-
During the sorting phase, we identify items that are no longer needed and categorize them as donate, discard, or relocate. You make the final call on every item — we never dispose of anything without your approval. For items being donated, we can advise on local organizations that accept school or office supplies. For items being discarded, we sort for recycling where possible. Removal and hauling is coordinated by your organization; we provide guidance on what needs to go and where.
-
Pricing is based on the size and condition of the space, the estimated number of days needed, and the scope of the project. After your free consultation, we provide a detailed, fixed-price proposal so you know exactly what you're getting before any work begins. We work within school district purchase order processes, nonprofit budgets, and corporate procurement requirements.
-
Yes. We offer periodic maintenance visits for organizations that want ongoing support — seasonal check-ins, back-to-school readiness assessments, and post-renovation resets. These are scoped and priced separately from the initial project. Many of our school clients bring us back at the start of each school year to refresh the system and address any spaces that have drifted.
